Chelsea news: Roman Abramovich open to selling Eden Hazard to Real Madrid

Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for months amid uncertainty about his long-term future at Chelsea.

The Belgium international is yet to agree a new contract with the Blues, despite offers being on the table.According to Spanish outletDon Balon, Roman Abramovich is coming round to the idea of cashing in on the 27-year-old.

And the Stamford Bridge boss is said to want Hazard to join Real Madrid above anyof the club’s Premier League rivals.

The report says Manchester City have beenc hasing the Belgian and are willing to offer £150million for his services.H

owever, Abramovich will not let him moveto the Etihad and has opened the door to a potential La Liga switch instead.

Don Balonclaim the Blues owner has not entirely given up hope of keeping Hazard and thinksthe appointment of Luis Enrique in the summer could tempt him into staying.


However, it could be too little too late for the Belgian, who appears to have set his sights on a move to the Bernabeu to work under Zinedine Zidane.
