Beyonce's father, Matthew Knowles says Beyonce will not have been as popular as she is now if she were dark skinned.

Matthew talked about race in the music industry, saying "When it comes to Black females, who are the people who get their music played on pop radio?  Mariah Carey, Rihanna, the female rapperNicki Minaj. my kids.

"Mathew spoke to Ebony about hisnew book, "Racism From The Eyes Of A Child," and admitted he even thought Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles was white when they first met.
