Alhaji Ganiu Oyeyemi aka Ogunjimi was arrested on the 3rd of march 2014 for alleged rape? well new light has been shed on the matter, contrary to reports that he raped his daughter's friend, The 24 year old lady involved whose name is Ayo is an upcoming actress in ogunjimi's theatre group.
According to a report, Ogunjimi and the lady were having sex at about 3pm on Sunday, 2nd March 2014 when she screamed. At that point, a passer-by who heard her screaming ran to the police station. Shortly after, policemen arrested Ogunjimi and he was detained for 3 days.
The actor has however said it's true he and Ayo had sex but he didn't rape her. He added that he is unable to say much at the moment because the case is in court.
The case was transferred to court where he was released on bail. it has been adjourned to 11th April 2014.
