Rapper Drake emerged for the

reportedly landed Drake in
hospital but he looked

the high-end Webster mall in
Miami.
Injuries, mutinous supporters, a

much like most recent seasons for
Arsène Wenger who seems stuck in
his personal Groundhog Day.
Today brings the visit of Newcastle
United and Wenger would in this

Mathieu Debuchy is fit, after three
months out, but with Calum
Chambers suspended the right-back
may have to play his former club at
centre-half. “It will be a gamble, of
course, but [whatever] solution I
have to decide will not be ideal,”
said Wenger, adding, “there is not a
massive difference between right-
back and centre-back.”
Per Mertesacker is among many
defenders unlikely to agree with
such a view, and there are few
indications to date that Debuchy is
as versatile as his predecessor as
Arsenal’s right-back, Bacary Sagna.
Wenger’s critics would argue the
need to consider playing Debuchy
in the centre is a consequence of
the manager’s failure to sign
defensive cover during the summer,
but that is unlikely to concern
Wenger to judge from his dismissal
of the travelling fans who crudely
abused him at Stoke.
“It is not my problem. My problem
is to win football games,” he said.
“I am not a politician who makes a
poll every week to see if you
support me. My sense is to focus on
my job. My message to supporters?
What is in the word ‘support’?
Support. It says what it says.

The missing baby who went missing after his mother was
found dead in a refrigerator at their home in Houston,
Texas on Monday December 8th has been found in Mexico
in good health.
11 months old Achilles

his estranged wife’s murder.
Anastacia Lambert was

Houston police say the little
boy was found abandoned
yesterday Friday December
12th in Queretaro, central
Mexico. Patrick was located
somewhere else in Mexico and
has since been taken into
custody.
A 50-year-old suspect, Ramoni
Adeleke, arrested by operatives of
the Special Anti-Robbery Squad
(SARS), Lagos State Police Command
for allegedly duping many people
has said that he shaved his long
beard and moustache to avoid being
recognised by people who know him
as a cleric.
Also arrested are other members of
his gang, including 70- year-old
Alhaji Lekan Lanlegu a.k.a. Baba
Toyota and 60-year-old Kolawole
Odenide.
A police source, who revealed how
the three aged suspects were
arrested, said the Commissioner of
Police (CP), Mr. Kayode Aderanti,
had got a hint that they were
involved in robbery and receiving
of stolen cars. The CP promptly
directed the Superintendent of
Police in charge of SARS, Mr. Abba
Kyari, and his team to get the three
men and the stolen cars. SARS
operatives, therefore, disguised as
car snatchers who wanted to sell a
stolen car to the gang.
One of them came forward to
collect the car. He had entered into
negotiation with the SARS
operatives before he realised that
they were policemen. Meanwhile,
Kyari and his men had cordoned off
the spot and promptly arrested the
would-be receiver.
According to the Nation ,Lanlegu
said it was one Kolawole Odenide,
who supplied him with a stolen car.
His arrest also led to the arrest of
Adeleke at a private mosque he
used as an office to dupe people
and receive stolen cars. A cleric he
was said to have employed to teach
people in the mosque and lead
prayers was said to have scaled the
fence and ran away on sighting
policemen.
Adeleke, who described himself as a
native of Ade village, Ade South
Local Government Area, Osun State,
said he was a transporter. He said
he built a mosque and employed an
alfa (Islamic cleric) to manage it.He
said:
“I live in Iba Estate near Lagos
State University (LASU) along
Badagry Road, Lagos. I am
happily married with five
children. I built a storey
building at Iba and a mosque
which I built with N300,000. I
built the mosque to honour God
and pray to him five times a
day. That was 10 years ago.
“In the year 2000, I started
thinking of how to make quick
money by stealing cars. I was
jobless and had no money to
feed my family. The man who
lured me into car stealing died
four years ago. I went to his
house to seek advice on how to
survive hunger and he taught
me how to steal cars.
“He told me that he survived
by stealing cars and for 10
years, I stole cars and my
poverty disappeared. We would
go to a place where a car was
parked and used a screw driver
to open the door. We would
dismantle the wiring and use
the starter wire to start the
engine.
“While he drove the stolen car,
I would drive his own car
behind him to wherever he was
going to sell, usually a place
around Idimu, to an old man
called Fatai, who is now late.
After selling it for N100,000
then, he would give me N5,000
as my own share.
“The late Fatai had a mechanic
workshop, and it was there that
I went to meet him that I
needed money and he told me
about stealing cars.
“When Fatai died five years
later, one Shina brought Kola
Adeniji to me as a partner in
crime. We operated more than
five times before we were
arrested. There was no gang
leader between us. We were a
twoman gang and anyone could
bring a job.
“Our last operation was at
Oyigbo, Ebute Meta, Lagos
around July this year. We stole
one Pick-Up Hylux vehicle and
sold it to one Alhaji Lekan for
N700,000. I had to shave my
beard in the cell to avoid
people identifying me as a
cleric.
“I bought three commercial
buses which ply Ijora-Obalende
route, and each of them makes
N4,000 return every day except
Saturday and Sunday. I was
arrested at Atede in Osun State
while going to mosque.” The
second suspect, Kolawole, said:
“I am from Abeokuta, Ogun
State. I am a property dealer in
Ikorodu, a suburb of Lagos. I
have two wives and seven
children. I met Adeleke in Idi-
Iroko, Ogun State when I was
doing smuggling. I knew him
through a friend called Shina.
“I learnt about stealing cars
about seven years ago.
Whenever we opened a car
door, tore the starting wire and
it refused to start, we
abandoned it in the belief that
it had a security system. But at
times, once you start the
engine, the security system
becomes useless.“I was once
arrested and taken to the State
Criminal Investigation
Department (SCID) Panti. I was
charged to court and remanded
in prison for one week. I had
gone on nine operations and
stopped before I started again
in January because of the
economic situation in the
country.”
After the assassination attempt on
Gen.Buhari(rtd) ,President Jonathan
openly condemned it.
Meanwhile ,ex-militamt, Asari
Dokubo claimed Buhari planned the
attack on himself to discredit the
government. Now,he is not happy
with the president.He also said the
boy arrested what a cross gender
not the one behind the attack
"I do not work for Jonathan.
What the President said was
wrong. The life of Buhari is not
more important than 87 people
that died in that blast. It is
unfortunate that the president
made such a statement. I
wonder why the President will
be promoting one person above
that of other Nigerians.“That

was very unfortunate. I do not
have the capacity to tell the
President to apologize, but I still
insist that he should not have
made such a statement...
“Soon after the blast, a cross-
gender person came out and
was arrested. Even the mother
of the person arrested said he
was insane”.
He continued....
“Social media reports said I
gave them N5 million to carry
out the attack. These things are
masterminded. The first one is
against President Jonathan and
the other is against me.I did
not pay anybody to carry out
any assassination attempt on
Buhari. I do not have anything
against him. He is not a threat.
He will fail in 2015. For the
records, I do not operate a
Twitter account and anyone
saying I tweeted that there will
be more attacks is only using
my name.”
“They want to silence me
because they know the role I
will play in 2015. They have
also sponsored reports in Benin
Republic that I am the person
financing Boko Haram.
Fears over West Africa’s Ebola
outbreak have gone global following
the death of a man in Lagos last week,
as health authorities in Hong Kong and
Birmingham, England, have
quarantined passengers showing
possible symptoms of the disease.
In Hong Kong, the state-run China Daily
reported that a woman who recently returned from
Africa with “symptoms similar to the Ebola
virus”—which at the early stages include headache,
fever, and stomach pain—is in a hospital isolation
ward while she undergoes testing. Symptoms can
take up to three weeks to materialize; the virus has
a mortality rate of up to 90%.
In Birmingham, a man who arrived on a flight
from Nigeria has also been taken to a hospital
isolation unit after complaining of “feeling
feverish.” The UK government is holding an
emergency meeting on how to address the “new
and emerging threat” of Ebola later today.
The heightened global alert comes after a man
working for the Liberian government died of Ebola
last week in Lagos, a megacity that is also an
international air travel hub. The presence of Ebola-
exposed patients in Nigeria is especially worrying
because of the city’s density and poor health care
infrastructure. The country’s doctors are currently
on strike over work conditions and pay.
The hospital where Patrick Sawyer—the lone
confirmed Ebola victim in Lagos so far—died has
been evacuated and is being decontaminated.
Authorities have identified 59 people who had
contact with Sawyer, but that does not include the
passengers who shared two airplane flights with him
(from Liberia to Ghana, then from Togo to Lagos);
health workers are still trying to identify them.
According to Canada’s CBC, witnesses said
Sawyer “was vomiting and had diarrhea aboard at
least one of his flights.”
Sawyer was an American citizen with a wife and
three children living in the US. Decontee Sawyer
told the Associated Press that her husband had been
scheduled to fly to Minnesota in August.

Jame Foxx Portraying Mike Tyson In New
Biopic
According to Mike Tyson himself, Jamie Foxx will
one day portray him in a biopic. The boxing
legend also added that Jamie will use CGI to play
him at various stages of his life.

The former heavyweight boxing champion Mike
Tyson has claimed that Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx is
set to play him in a new biopic, through the magic
of CGI.
Tyson told the Daily Mirror that Foxx would
portray him in different stages of his life, aided by
the technology used for the David Fincher fantasy
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
He also claimed Martin Scorsese would be involved
in the proposed biopic.
“Me and Jamie Foxx are in discussion, and we
gonna do it,” said Tyson, 48. “Within a year to 18
months, we’re going to do the Mike Tyson story
and he’s going to portray me, and now they have
this new animation; because you know Jamie’s
pretty much my age so he can’t portray me but
they have this new system.”
Foxx, 46, has reportedly asked Tyson for help
training for the role.
Having previously impersonated Tyson, for comedy
skits, he revealed an interest in portraying the
boxer during an appearance on the US TV show
Live with Kelly and Michael in May.
“I got a chance to hang out with Mike when Mike
was at his height,” he said, “and I watched [him]
go from his height to where he is now, and I talked
to him about doing his story.
I think that story would be fantastic … and I had
my makeup artist dress me up as Mike Tyson …
People were literally coming up asking for
autographs.
So hopefully, Mike, if you’re listening, let’s make
history.”
