No Telecom subscriber will be shortchanged under my watch....Minister

Minister of Communications, Bar. Abdur-Raheem Shittu, has assured that no Nigerian telecom subscriber would be shortchanged by any service provider under his watch in view of the of the increasing complaints that are emanating from poor quality of service and regulatory deficiencies.

This is even as the Minister described the present economic downturn besetting the nation as a temporary setback.

Economic doom prediction won't stop lagos from booming...Ambode

Governor Ambode spoke at the 2016 Annual Thanksgiving Service of the Lagos State Government, held at the State House, Ikeja, on Sunday.

The governor said despite the prediction of bleak economy for this year, Lagos is determined to forge ahead.

“We are determined to achieve inclusive progress in governance. Employment will boom, Lagos will grow in leaps and bound,” he said.

Man U Injury update

Louis van Gaal has provided more information on the injuries sustained by Phil Jones and Ashley Young in Manchester United's 2-1 win over Swansea on Saturday.

“Jones is injured, and it's more or less the same injury as before," van Gaal said. "Ashley Young has played a lot of matches in a row, so he was stiff and had to be changed. It was not voluntary, I changed them because I need to change."
